It brings a whole new meaning to idea of “If it’s not illegal, I’m not doing anything wrong.” This is everything that is wrong with our society.
I wish there were more pictures. The article focuses more on the drought aspect and I didn’t have the time to look into it for more pics. But it’s still a pretty cool that a town that has been completely submerged for 25 years is still somewhat standing.
As an official Central NY Resident I have no problem jumping on the band wagon in the fight against Hydrofracking. It’s insanely toxic and it yields minimal useful energy. It’s just one more example of how we as a society have really learned nothing from our mistakes and we are destine fail. Placing ourselves in the cosmic history books as a species with the intelligence just above a lemming

Living with a girl who pays attention to celebrities it’s hard not to hear about the insane mothers whose lives have been ruined by the constant spotlight and the kids who should have been taken away from their parents years ago. And all I ever do is complain that these borderline abusive parents are celebrated by the mentally vacant American people who patronize the Access Hollywoods and the TMZs of the world, when they should have been brought up on charges. So to say I was shocked when I got to work this morning find a headline entitled “No Drama Mamas, is an understatement. It must have been a slow news day, but it’s about time there is a parent in the news who isn’t putting their cigarette out on their child.
Although, I can’t help but think back to Chris Rock’s stand up where he rips on people who brag about “Doin’ shit they supposed to do”. But I find it hard to believe any of these women went out of their way to discuss being a good parent.
