Came across this on Engadget. Seems simple and and brilliant. It also looks like they have been listening to the Ace Broadcasting Network. Carolla has been ranting about peeing in the sink as a means to save time and water for years. This is just a little bit more sanitary way to do it. Two Questions: How soon can I have one of these installed next to the workbench in my basement? And can it be customized with a bottle opener?

To say that I’m excited about this show is an understatement. I never read the comic it’s based on (I’m a rookie), but I’m pumped that they are even making a show about zombies. It’s no surprise that AMC picked it up either, they seem to be the only station that will consider good shows (with a few new shows on other networks as exceptions: The Colony, Community, Modern Family, etc). Mad Men and Breaking Bad are two prime examples of different shows that AMC took a chance on and are now insanely popular. Meanwhile NBC is still crapping out reality shows like Loosing It with Jillian and horribly unoriginal single-word-title hospital shows like Trauma and Mercy. And Fox…well there are three reality shows about cooking all hosted by Gordon Ramsay and 5 nights a week of American Idol, if you’re interested.

The Walking Dead , premiers October 20th, smack in the middle of AMC’s Fearfest. It’s gonna be just as good as the other original series on AMC, possibly better, if you really like Zombies. It is only 6 episodes, but it is produced by the author of the Comic, Robert Kirkman and written and directed by Frank Darabont, who brought you Shawshank and The Green Mile, so if should have a feature length movie quality to it. The rest of the hacks in the entertainment industry should be taking notes, not paying off paparazzi for more drunk pics of Lindsay Lohan.
